South Carlsbad State Beach
Just spent a couple nights (mid-week) here and it was great. $50/night is steep for no hookups but being perched on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific and falling asleep to the surf is worth it.

For a little less money, $35 a night,and if your a SENIOR it is $2 cheaper :B You can fall asleep with that same sound and be right on the sand. It is also dry camping but during mid week it is sometimes almost empty. Here is some pictures of
