Something to keep in mind ... the Keys are warmer over the winter months than south Florida (speaking from experience, we spent the last 4 years in Punta Gorda - just north of Ft Myers; this year we moved south to Key West). PG had several evenings over the past 4 years in the mid-30's - tough when you don't have heat! But you pay for the increase in temperature, the Keys are substantially more expensive. Our Lance 1685 travel trailer is in storage in PG and we're living aboard our sailboat in KW ... the trailer has heat, the boat does not. Temperature depends on your tolerance for "chilly" - our tolerance gets less each year. Enjoy!
