South Texas winds late this year

Question

The onshore spring winds are running very late. 15-20 miles per hour 24 hours per day. Its blown out two major fishing tournament the past two weekends. Need a strong anchor to drift fish.
Should be creating storms upcountry in OK/MO. Campers beware.

We camped down at Port Aransas the last 2 weeks and you are right. Winds were never ending.

I've heard for years from people in Texas the wind is overstated and not as bad as people say. The Texas snowbirds defend the fact there is little or no wind all the time. I was there for 4 winter years and it blew like no tomorrow.
