The wind is greatest near the coast, we seldom find wind to be an issue in the western Valley. I would say maybe 5% of days would have a wind 25 MPH or greater. We find the winds to be similar to MN Summers wind. But we have not been here through hurricane season, that is what may bring the averages up. RV or patio orientation, tree and structure density and location can make a big difference too.
