You can blame LynnandCarrol for bragging how GOOD the WX has been in the RGV for the next month or more of COLD WX. While I doubt the accuracy of L O N G forecasts look at this one for Mission TX with five days above 70 this January. You probably do not want to compare it to WPB, Fla where the high is expected to be below 70 for all of two days and five mornings below 60... Brr.
Yes it cost twice as much or more for south Fla so take a look at Ocala with one day where the high will not be above 60 plus it does not cost much more than the RGV with 13 days below 60 at Mission.
