We never thought this post would blossom like it has..lol! Spring Break in Port-A is alive and well the beach is covered morning to night rain or shine. The temp is there just not the sunshine. We came down in August and staying till further notice so the last 2 months of iffy weather was a definite downer, but not the end of the world. Will gladly wear a jacket if required instead of a winter coat, hat, gloves and snow boots. no ice scraper or snow shovel either!!
Had a great time with friends, neighbors, and our new local friends. Ate well, drank good, laughed, enjoyed the surroundings, and got to be part of the friendly culture of the south-TX coastal bend (Rockport, TX). The seafood and fishing was awesome!! Feel blessed that I could leave the frozen tundra for south TX. Really hope next winter's weather is better!! Right now we are looking forward to the awesome April-June weather and hoping the pool is ready when it gets hot!
