Old Tucson is one of many pleasant surprises in my travels. I fully expected it to be a mild snooze, but was amazed at how many things I remembered from cowboy flicks. "El Dorado" and "Rio Bravo". John Wayne flicks that were basically the same story. One with Dean Martin and Ricky Nelson and the other with Robert Mitchum and James Caan. And as I neared the jail, off to the right sat the Alamo.
The Arizona Sonora Desert Museum was also a pleasant surprise. I expected snakes, but didn't expect the four legged animals that also live there. Now you have to go just to see what I'm talking about. :)
