Near Cedar city is Cedar Breaks National Monument
At over 10,000 feet in elevation, the monument rests on top of the Colorado plateau. Millions of years of sedimentation, uplift, and erosion have carved out this giant amphitheater that spans some three miles and is more than 2000 feet deep.
Any time is a good time to visit Cedar Breaks. Spring welcomes back the wildlife. Summer flowers are beautiful and come in a variety of colors. Fall is filled with aspens turning bright colors of red, orange, and yellow.Winter is great for playing in the snow. Ranger-led activities and special events happen throughout the year.
Point Supreme Campground
