We made a trip out west in 2013 that included most of the major parks and other attractions that we could comfortably visit in August/September. We thought it would be too hot to enjoy the desert areas so that is why we are going in late February/March. Some of the best parts of that trip were the lesser known monuments and ruins that were suggested by people on the Forum. That's why I would appreciate any suggestions!
