Ever been to Waynesville NC? Its centrally located to Asheville and the Biltmore estate or a day trip to Dollywood if you are inclined. Cherokee NC is close by too. The Wheels in time museum is in Maggie Valley and its pretty neat for old motorcycles and cars. The Smoky Mtn Ntl Park is a good day trip too, Clingmans Dome is the highest point in the area and it has an observation tower with spectacular views. Nice campgrounds in the area too.
