- jaycocamprsExplorerCOE park in Fulton MS just east of Tupelo. 2 State parks in the area. IMHO Trace SP is nicer than Tombigbee SP. There is also the Campgrounds at Barnes Crossing . Its nice, but sites are close together.
- DUNEBUGGYDOUGExplorerMimosa, you said Tupelo to start with.Too answer your question, yes there is a great state park just west of Tupelo, Trace State Park. The park is located on hwy 6/278.You can go south on 45 to Mobile and take I-10 or 78 to Birmingham, I-65 to Montgomery, 231 south and come out at Fort Walton or Destin just depends on state route you take
- captbruExplorerArmy Corp Park on the Tombigbee Water Way about 20 miles away.
