St. Joe is closer to the beach (Gulf Breeze sites) but many of the sites are tight, close together, and not private. Be very careful in picking sites.
St. George Campground is a little more spread out and the sites are roomier.
Both have bay areas and ocean areas, both have areas to get away from people all together, both are a fair distance from 'town.'
We love both and would stay in both but we are very picky about our sites in St. Joe's. If we could get one of our choice sites in Gulf Breeze campground, we would choose that. Otherwise, we would go to St. George.
