Stagecoach Lake State Park, CO

On this Easter weekend sitting in Maryland where it is 60-75 degrees and having just talked to the Granddaughter after a week in Steamboat with Great SNOW, got me thinking about Stagecoach State Park. It's 20 or so miles south of Steamboat on a small reservoir. No trees just a great nicely isolated spot we stumbled upon 10+ years ago. Stumbled on are the operative words - as I had a picture on the lake and posted it to have 4runnerguy tell me were I was back in 2007, it is just one of those places that was - Quiet - Peaceful - just Enjoyable.

Thought I would start a post to just allow others who have enjoyed this and other Colorado State Parks over the years to share this treasure with others.

Utube of the Park

Closest state park to Steamboat Springs. There are walking trails, boat ramp and swim beach at the park. Most people camp here to boat, swim and/or to fish. It is heavily used in the summer so make a reservation.

So what do you think?
