States must see poll
I enjoyed the responses to DougE's poll for recommended places to visit in Oregon. Has this been done before? I did a quick search "best places to see" and found just a few but not of individual state...

The East Coast. That is where our country began. The Rev and Civil Wars are the history of the USA. The states are beautiful and unlike the west it is green. I love the west especially the PAC NW, but don't discount east. The Great Lakes are fresh water Oceans 1/5 of all fresh water on earth is in them. Air flight was invented and tested here. WWII was won by the east manufacturing capacity. The mansions of the south are spectacular. Louisville, Ky is where Louis and Clark started there westward discovery. Space flight is a Florida thing.
