I was at Fort Pickens just last week (you have to spell out Fort on the Recreation dot Gov site for it come up.) and aside from a couple of spots in the road where the shoulder was damaged, and some sand still on the roads, you would never know anything happened.
Be aware the entrance fee is $20 (good for seven days) and campsites are now $40 per day. If you have a senior pass, the entrance fee is waived and the campsites are $20.
We also rode over to Johnson Beach looking for better fishing, and it was OK too.
