- HorsedocExplorer IICome on Jim ease up. You are a classier act than your response.
- machuntExplorerWow what did i say to deserve this response? all i said was we stayed there and didnt care for it. nothing against you.
My other reply was to the poster that suggested (stone Mountain)
Sp please settle down. - love2rvcampExplorer
What you asked for was a CG "on the way, the closer the better" to Stone Mountain. My suggestion covers the first 400 miles of the 500 mile trip on the first day. I didn't know I had to suggest a CG that impresses you. I don't know (or care) what impresses you. But you can be sure that I won't be doing your homework for you in the future.
Wow, hope you are just having a bad day from the tone of that response.
I don't live to far from Stone Mountain. So never camped there but we have rode through. Seems they have some nice spots. If I remember correctly the sites closer to the pool and main building are the most level. There is a lot to do in the park and of course not far from downtown.
It is off the main highways down Highway 78 towards Athens. - Jim_ShoeExplorerWhat you asked for was a CG "on the way, the closer the better" to Stone Mountain. I-75 South, exit #1 as you enter Georgia. Holiday Travel Park. A nice FHU park with WIFI and Cable. Good reviews on RV Park Reviews. I stayed there on my way to Pensacola a few years ago. About 400 miles south of Cincinnati.
Exit 1 is the last exit in Tennessee , just before the stateline. The RV park is in GA, and is nice.
