I've passed Stone Mtn SP on Hwy 21 numerous times en route to Sparta where I camp at a friend's cabin on the New River. Looks like a super park and certainly is in a scenic area. Ridge Rd. or Petersburg... you can't go wrong with either park. Enjoy your trip.
