Stone Mountain State Park north carolina

Anyone stayed at Stone Mountain State Park NC? Wife and I are staying July 4th thru 7th. We are water tubing on a river Friday outside the park on the 5th. I know the park has hiking trails etc. Wondering if anyone has other recommendations for things to do in the area. Thanks!
