Any one stay in a premium site and have a good level site at St. Mountain? We were there last year and had a terrible site (took 2 hours and lots of work to get semi-level)so looking for suggestions...
The premium sites on the loop behind the office (purple sites on the map), sites 140-168 are all fairly level and large enough for RVs. Most of the rest are very old (1960s era) campsites from when this was a state park, and they were designed for tents. Don't believe it when they tell you that some are OK for anything bigger than a pop up. The premium sites are nice enough, with patios or decks and full hookups.
