Storing RV in Florida

Question

Hello,I'm thinking of purchasing an RV, either in Ontario or Florida to use during the winter and then store in Florida over the Summer. If purchased in Ontario I would tow it down to Florida and store it close to our campground, then after 5 years or so, tow it back to Ontario to sell. If purchased in Florida I would simply sell it in Florida.&nbsp;Is this something that can be done?Have others done this?What issues will I have?Is it better to purchase in Ontario or Florida?

I’ve declined a couple of times to buy an RV registered out of state. Registered in another country, no way. The funny business going on with RV titles isn’t funny.&nbsp;

I'd be looking at pri e in Ontario plus cost to transport it as compared to cost in Florida. If it makes financial sense, I'd do it then sell in Florida where it will probably sell for more. You'd probably have to title it in Florida if it's going to be there long term or if someone was wanting to buy it but didn't want to deal with an international title transfer. I have no idea what that entails.&nbsp;

its fairly easy buying a canadain owned rig in the US, it meets all the standards for the US already plus it meets the more stringant Canadain standards for a couple things.&nbsp; you get a bill of sale and old signed registration, which is the same as your title.&nbsp; very strait forward for the US to retitle.&nbsp; now every provence is a little bit diffent up here&nbsp; so in BC where I am, your bill of sale and registration transfer is on one page some provences they might be different pieces of paper.&nbsp;&nbsp;
