Sugarloaf Key Koa
anybody know how rebuilding is going at Koa on sugarloaf key? I was there in april not much going on. I am interested in wonkamping there but can t find any info

Email: feedback@koa.net - I was down there at Blue Water Key in May and there was no activity at the KOA--- just an empty sand lot . I looked at the Monroe County building permit site and found that the KOA has submitted plans to rebuild the RV park , but replace some of the RV sites with a hotel. I have to imagine it'll be a couple years out.
- I thought I had heard it was closed for the foreseeable future. I hadn't heard of any time it will be open.
- Tried, no answer, thought somebody might have first hand info
- Why don't you just call and ask if they need any work campers? Seems like that would get much more information than posting here!
