Sunbird to Snowbird seasonal migration

Fred Meyer in East Wenatchee was fine with trailer. 25 cents per gallon cheaper than the Rock Island truck stop (Shell). Chris

They are starting to roll back in slowly in Yuma and the Foothills area. Been here since 9-12. The last 10 days have been fantastic. High School and Junior College football going strong.

We leave our summer home base in Reno 10-28 and plan a 4 day trip to our winter home arriving in Eloy, AZ (10 miles south of Casa Grande) on 10-31.

This is our first year to snowbird and we leave on the OCT. 12 go to Vegas for 2 week and on to Casa Grande. for 5 months :)

Here - 60/70's with 50's low. Fall colors, and good sleeping temps.

There - 90's with 70's for low. Much to hot for me.

Between the trains and hiway 2 it is a bit noisy for sure! Tonight is at Wild Horse Casino RV and should be quiet. Meeting BIL there today. Then on to Mountain Home Friday. Set up to go thru SLC on Sunday. Chris

From the highway, the Wenatchee River County Park looks like a really nice park. One of these days we will stay there just to relax by the river.

Don't shop there and have never looked at how the stations is set for big rigs. I think you could drive in and see and go back out with out any issues. chevman
