Never camped there. We have camped several times at Sampson State Park of the east side of the lake. Don't know that I would "vacation" there, but it was a great base-camp for touring the wineries, the NA$CAR race at The Glen, and other site-seeing opportunities. Basic electrical hook-up's, no sewer at sites, but well designed dump station. Water spigots throughout CG, usually no more than a few hose-lengths away. CG bath & shower facilities well maintained.
