taking the family east coast
First time doing this. We are leaving 2014 for a fall east coast trip from Alabama and goal is Maine for 3 weeks....I first need top rv parks that will be close enough to drive around for the children...

Tour Philly from Timberlane CG in Clarksboro, NJ. It is an easy drive into the city, or you can drive to the hi speed line and take the train - either way, you will need a vehicle. In Maine, Acadia specifically, a good camping location is Bar Harbor CG. They do not take reservations, or cc, but generally you can find a site. They are located on the shuttle bus route, that will get you into Acadia and Bar Harbor.
