taking the family east coast
First time doing this. We are leaving 2014 for a fall east coast trip from Alabama and goal is Maine for 3 weeks....I first need top rv parks that will be close enough to drive around for the children...

On the to Maine you could stop at Normandy Farms in Foxboro, MA to see Boston. Then on up to Bayley's just outside of Portland, Maine. From there go to Boothbay Harbor and then to Bar Harbor. Many choices in Bar Harbor, we likethe Bar Harbor CG and the KOA. Lot's to see and do around Arcadia National Parl. We've taken the grandkids to Moosehead and they loved the area. Go along the "golden road" towards Millinocket. and Mt Katahdin. The scenery is awesome.
