Thank you, busskipper, for your positive posting....much appreciated.
Over 19 years part time RVing we have been to 182 different RV parks; 98% in the 11 western states and 2 western provinces. And will, God willing, add 10 new ones this summer.
It is very difficult to pick one or even a dozen for me. We stay - nearly 100% - at FHU places (state parks, etc are the exception but at least w/e).
We don't need all the amenities because, in general, we are not there for the rv park, we are there for the surrounding natural beauty. And hiking and my photography.
For example. Trailer Village on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon is a great FHU park. Amenities in the rv park (pool, blah, blah) are non existent. But the South Rim - particularly at sunrise and sunset - is amazing in beauty. And we will be, God willing, again there (maybe 8th time) for a week this fall.
I am extremely grateful for all the people on here who have helped us so much in finding places that are so super and meet our desires.
And enjoy your photography! I have had it for a hobby nearly all my life - 8 years ago I became professional when people wanted to buy from me. I was born at night, but not last night (as they say) so I started selling and exhibiting and it is a great path I have found. Some of my images break "the rules" and they are some of my best selling.
I have taken a little different path on this posting so thanks for bearing with me.
God bless - be safe.
