Tempe, AZ

We are looking for an RV park that can accomodate a 40' Mh in Tempe with full hook ups

  • Tempe is in the "smogbowl" of the Phoenix area. Would suggest going a little bit east to AJ. Lots of choices and the air is better.
  • Tempe is way too crowded with no large areas for turns, etc. Go the next town over into Mesa. There are many RV parks there, for a reason, and to " explore" Tempe, you are only a couple miles away.
  • Tempe is a wonderful location; close to everything in Valley. Here is a park I found by searching "rv park in tempe,az.

  • ASU is in Tempe, it's city streets , buildings and traffic. I'd look out a little further.
  • QueenD, keep in mind that Tempe is not like most other cities. It's just part of the huge East Valley area of Phoenix. Tempe, Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Apache Junction, etc all just run together -- there's no real border between them. Tempe being the closest to Phoenix itself is likely more expensive, and is less "open" than the others.

Check RVparkreviews.com for all the East Valley cities.

Don't know about the TEMPE area but the Apache Junction area has different camp sites to support your large RV unit. The scenery around there is much better under the local mtns than Tempe would offer and not that much farther away to drive...
