Texas State Park choices
Anybody have a clue regarding Palo Duro Canyon SP and Caprock Canyons SP? I don't think we will have the time to visit both this fall, and both look pretty nice. I can't decide.... We're heading up...

Probably the Mesquite camp area. And the reason is, as others have mentioned, the utter lack of cell phone coverage anywhere closer to the entrance.
We had a campsite at Hackberry campground but absolutely no cell phone signal there.
Moved farther into the canyon to the aforementioned Mesquite campground, and although not the best signal, it was surely better than none at all.
