I think boondocking in remote locations might be easier for a couple than for a lone camper, because the couple has each other and aren't truly alone. Although some people can camp alone and feel just fine, I think they may be somewhat rare individuals. The reason I say all this is because I have been in empty CGs and felt fine, but when I boondocked last summer in a remote undesignated location it felt reeeaaaalllly spooky and I kept looking over my shoulder when outside the trailer. I guess I might not be true hard-core boondocking material. Either that, or I need a wife who likes camping (mine won't go any more).
