Don't know how recognizable they are to EVERYONE, but here's some that are iconic if one stays in the area for any length of time:
Agree with the previous poster that mentioned Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs. Click Here-From Downtown Colorado Springs
and would have to add The Garden of the Gods also in the Springs Click here
Horsetooth Rock west of and over the skyline of Fort Collins, CO Click Here
Visible and iconic from Longmont, CO as well as from the Toll Monument up on Trail Ridge Rd, is Longs Peak and it's twin, Mt Meeker. Click Here-View from Longmont and Click Here-From Trail Ridge
Anyone and everyone who's ever been to Boulder, CO - The Flatirons. Click Here
The Royal Gorge Bridge outside of Canon City, CO Click Here
Mesa Verde National Park Click Here
And last but not least....The Flying Saucer House Click Here from Woody Allen's "Sleeper" movie...anyone who's travelled I-70 west of Denver, on Genessee Mountain has probably seen it.
