- travelnutzExplorer IIOther places I can think of that the sand color and vegetation looks the your pic is Namibia in Southern Africa, Mongolia, and in Central/Northern Australia. The color appearance of the sand depends so much on the brightness and angle of the Sun. I do see a slight pink hue to the sand as the Sun is not directly above the sand or it would likely have an orangeish look for the sand.
Add in the dune area of California as a posibility also but most of the dunes there have lighter colored sand but it does vary. - bigred1cavExplorerColorado
