The comment about in the path of jets on the West side of Yuma.
I suspect he meant the East side of Yuma.
There is a Marine base on the East side of Yuma proper. And yes there is a fair amount of traffic of fighter jets going to and from the Barry Goldwater bombing range on the far South East side of Yuma.
Most of the activity is during the daytime.
Most of us that live in Yuma do not complain and I call the noise the sound of freedom. My self I enjoy watching the planes. We get to see a large variety of our freedom fighters in action.
As far as I know there are no civilians forced to live in Yuma. A few Marines Yes.
