Getting to either the Canadian Rockies or California would be a pain for you, but both are worth it. Early summer is the best time to visit Yosemite, as more water is flowing over the waterfalls. At all costs avoid the valley on weekends. Kings Canyon and Sequoia are beautiful but not crazy crowded like Yosemite. Lots to do in California.
Someone mentioned Chicago, which to me is not worth it anymore. No RV parks nearby, red light cameras, expensive parking and of course crime is always an issue there.
