The NE has a lot to offer. Last summer we started out at Cape Cod for a week and worked our way up north stopping in Old Orchard Beach Maine, and then to Acadia NP. After that we headed inland a bit to the White Mountains of New Hampshire and Franconia Notch State Park..... Look up "The Flume" there. It doesn't disappoint. We didn't have time for Boston so that will be for another trip, but next summer we are headed back that way to hit Niagara Falls, The Finger Lakes, and the Adirondacks in New York, the Green Mountains in Vermont, and then down into Rhode Island and Conneticut for abut of history before rounding it out in Philly/ Lancaster and the Flight 93 Memorial on the way home.
