You need a nice beach on a sunny day. The water at the beach edge isn't 35 degrees.
Just so you don't think I'm pulling your leg.....

OK, we stayed at Pancake Bay Provincial Park in Ontario and in July the water was 35 deg at the beach, but that is northern Lake Superior. The weather didn't help either, cloudy with rain on and off. Further south the water must be warmer.
