If you make it out to AZ check out Oak Creek Canyon near Sedona. Slide Rock SP. There are NPS campgrounds/only drinking water, vault toilets $22. We tent camped at Pine Flat about 20 years ago. I remember it being beautiful by Oak Creek and the canyon walls. We were driving a van. There are switchbacks on that road. It is very scenic.
