The RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads

We stopped at this place on the way south. We stayed for 4 nights which was a bit long for what it is - an overnight parking spot for people headed south. About 2pm every day, the sites started filling up with most sites full by dark. Late arrivals pull into water and power only sites near the entrance (the staff leaves promptly at 5). By noon the next day, the place is almost deserted.

It's easy to find from I95 and there's a Walmart one exit north with an easy in and out. There's not much to do at the campground itself and "RV Resort" is stretching it a bit, especially after the pool is shut down.

Next time we'll do a night or 2 here and a couple of nights elsewhere like Greenville, or maybe just add a couple of nights in Myrtle.

  • GREAT park, in my opinion. I use it like the majority of other people do, as a quick, clean, nice park for a one night stop on my way down I95. It is very nice and has a lot of amenities. I wonder if it is busier and has more regular visitors during the peak season of spring through fall.
  • WE are here for 2 nights on our way south on our first snowbird trip. Our GPS took us past the entrance and into the boonies! The entrance is right off the highway almost immediately on the left.

Nice place for a couple of restful nights. The jacuzzi is open still on November 9.
