Theft at campgrounds???????????
How prevalent is theft at campgrounds? I see items to lock your power cord down so it cant be stolen, locks for coolers, etc. What about leaving your RV unlocked while at the pool? Thanks

Welcome! We have camped for 34+ years and have never had anything stolen. We do keep our bikes locked and lock the 5th wheel when we are gone. This has been asked many times over the years and I remember reading about thefts of coolers, some lawn chairs, and mostly beer I think. The funniest one I remember reading (although not funny to the ones it happened to) was reports from several campers that beer, chairs, firewood, steaks and other food was taken. I believe they found the chairs and remnants of the firewood but the steaks and beer were all gone.
