The base is gone it now has Market Commons, the Pavilion is gone but parts are still there at Broadway at the Beach..... speaking of Broadway at the Beach if you have never been to Ripley's Aquarium it is nice but pricey....... I have been told the Marsh walk at Murel's Inlet is nice didn't have time this time we were down there...... Shopping at the two Tanger outlets or Bass Pro Shop but I agree I can't take too much shopping.....
Charleston to the Battery (Nice ghost walk tour at night), a cruise to Fort Sumpter or a tour or the aircraft carrier Yorktown or the sub make a great day trip.
