Every day there are activities in Huntington Beach State Park. Crabbing, talks on reptiles, beach combing tours, tour of Atalya, a ghost tour on Friday nights, alligator tours, kayaking tours and a great nature center. They have a nice hike called the Sandpiper Trail or park at North Beach and walk to the jetty. Hobcaw Barony is a great place to check out and not far from HBSP. Of course as others have indicated, Brookgreen Gardens while pricey is a beautiful place and their zoo is great. Also take the boat tour to Sandy Island.
