things to do Vegas in June/July

Anything outside can be brutal even just walking down the strip. If you have a car the Ethyl M candy factory is good for a tour but some miles from the strip. The Bellagio Conservatory display and other art works both there and the Wynn are worth seeing. Then for a fun/cheap show look up the Mac King comedy magic show at 1 & 3 pm at Harrah’s. Discount tickets for around $15 are available with a player’s club card. Then, Freemont street downtown is a free freak show all day every day that you can tell your friends about but without pictures of the 300lb. guy with only a diaper on they won’t believe you. It doesn’t cost anything to watch and people watching in Vegas is probably one of the best shows around. “Honey, remember the money I gave you and told you not to give it to me? Well, give it to me.” Enjoy, I’ll be in a poker room or sports book.

I would only do something inside with air conditioning or be next to a pool!;)

Can't post a link but if your game $150 or so each for a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon. Most last 4-6 hours. Just google las Vegas helicopter tours.

While waiting do a Google search for `las vegas tourism'. For about $100 each you can take in a show.

For me the outdoor (free) fountain show at the Bellagio is a must, especially at night.

The wife and I went and the best part of the trip was a quick trip to the Hoover Dam, we rented a jeep at the hotel and went and did the tour. It is quite a bit of walking and stairs though, but it was nice and cool in the dam.

Mt Charleston for a day trip.
Take a drive to Red Rocks.
Go to a concert.
Best restaurants in the world.
Take the boat ride in the Lexor through ancient Egypt with a cocktail.
Lazer show.
Fremont St at night.
Walk the Strip after dark. Stay out of casinos.
Find a small motel off the strip with a nice pool.

Valley of Fire is really hot by June. Maybe a morning or evening trip.
