I've seen rustic be VERY expensive. ;)

There's a resort in Tucson called Desert Pueblo.

My husband Phil and I really enjoyed our stay there. The sites were clean and the grounds were very nice.

The real pleasant parts about Desert Pueblo, in my opinion, were all the different amenities they had - picnic tables, clubhouses, nice trees/scenery, putting green, pools, hot tubs, lawn games and so on.

We stayed for a few days only as we were passing through Tucson, but it was quite enjoyable and we would've loved to have stayed longer. We'll definitely keep them in mind when we swing back into town.

What do you mean with this statement? You ride what, where?

We alternate between Florida, Texas and Arizona. Each has advantages and disadvantages.

We've stayed at Tombstone, Yuma, Casa Grande, Apache Junction and Mesa AZ. Quite enjoyed Mesa last winter. Many many people hike (not there but) FROM there.

We ride so Yuma is out: scores a zero riding index, like RGV. Other advantages no doubt.

Down south you are crammed in like sardines in snowbird camps and yes the crowd is usually older and bingo and game night are a short walk from any and all the MH's. It is what most like and are happy with it.

I tried it once for just a month and it was NOT for me!

Move just a little north into central Florida. There is SOO much more to do here and the CG's are much nicer.

I just found this little hidden gem of Florida last year. It is unbelievable. No mosquitoes like in the southern area so you can actually enjoy the evening hours too.

Beautiful blue springs in beautiful parks state and national and artisan places to shop, special events happening all over, etc.

And in just an hour or so if you want to take a day trip to the gulf.

Best area I have found in Florida. No more southern crammed snowbird CG's for me. :C
