we have stayed in Florida the last few winters and think it is time to move on. We enjoy walking/non-strenuous hiking, sight seeing, shopping, wines, breweries... We are looking for a younger crowd to hang with, no proms no interest in bingo or game night. any ideas where we might want to stay?
Down south you are crammed in like sardines in snowbird camps and yes the crowd is usually older and bingo and game night are a short walk from any and all the MH's. It is what most like and are happy with it.
I tried it once for just a month and it was NOT for me!
Move just a little north into central Florida. There is SOO much more to do here and the CG's are much nicer.
I just found this little hidden gem of Florida last year. It is unbelievable. No mosquitoes like in the southern area so you can actually enjoy the evening hours too.
Beautiful blue springs in beautiful parks state and national and artisan places to shop, special events happening all over, etc.
And in just an hour or so if you want to take a day trip to the gulf.
Best area I have found in Florida. No more southern crammed snowbird CG's for me. :C
