Thoughts on Saltwater State Park in Washington

Planning a trip to Boeing and other interests in Seattle, Looking for a nice place to stay while camping with my family.
Found Saltwater park, looks reasonable.... your thoughts or maybe suggestions for other
camp areas near the area so we dont spend time traveling to and from the rv for meals and some rest
thanks

  • When the weather gets nice both fill up quickly. You may want to research a larger, private campground. I'd suggest those up at Easton, near Snoqualmie Pass since the driving time to Seattle is just over an hour on the freeway and the nights are very cool. But, you'll have to make your reservations early.
  • I am more prone to Dash Point State Park which is just about 7 to 8 miles further than Salt Water State Park. Dash Point has full hookups (water and electric) no sewer hookup, and it also has a bigger beach and several picnic areas. Salt water has no hookups and is a smaller park/beach. I almost always camp there 2 or 3 times a year.
