I'm another fan of the program. We have an upcoming reservation at San Francisco RV Resort, an Encore park. My cost went from $1,000 for 2 weeks to $315 for 2 weeks. Plus, as you said, it opens a lot of affordable options for Florida.
The catches:
- the first year isn't prorated. Our membership renews on Dec 1, so I paid $200 for August-December usage. It works with my $700 savings.
- you can't go directly from one TC park to another and get the discount. We looked at a winter tour around Florida, but would have to have a week out between TC stays. (Though, as you correctly noted- you can go directly from TT to TC and vice versa on most TT memberships.)
For us, it should be a money saver and opens up a lot more parks.
