Thousand Trails Members--southeast zone
Just wondering if you have ever camped at Green Mountain and what you thought of it? What is the best campground in that zone? We just joined and wanted to see if it's worth it.

- Lenoir, NC just north of Hickory/I-40 and south of Boone. CG is right off of Hwy 321. We have always enjoyed our stays there and I am sure some bigs rigs have been to sites up from the botom area when we were there. A phone call would put your mind at ease if you are interested.
- I'm TT but don't have Outdoor World. Where is Green Mountain?
- The last time we were there, there were only the few sites in the area near the entrance the 42' coach would fit and navigate into. They even made sure to inform us not to go to the upper levels.
- My Wife and I stopped at Green Mountain for a couple three days last Fall. Very peaceful and restful place in early October. Nice color in the trees across the Valley. The music from the stream was easy to slumber to although we missed a chance to do any fishing.
We enjoyed our stay and would go back again.
We run a 40 foot Motor Home and had no problem with the roads or back in sites.
We have been full time members of Thousand Trails for almost 9 years now and would recommend membership in a heart beat. Hope you enjoy your travels.
