That's almost 250 miles per day. Too much for me.
Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
I did on our trip to Oklahoma, I drove 768 miles in one day. This wasn't planned just worked out that way. Once you are in the groove you go with it.
This was a once in a lifetime deal so You do what you do!
but I never drove faster than 68mph and that was just a few times. Mostly set the cruise around 65mph and let the truck do the work it was designed to do. Only through the Great Smokies mountains did I pedal it and then the Ozarks foothills, drove on I-40 the whole trip until OKC then down I-44 and back home again.
On the return trip without 5er, I was able to stop and smell the roses in Memphis, Nashville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, TN.
