Someone mentioned Crossville--we have been there many times as we have friends there. We stayed a few times at Bean Pot Campground and I believe I remember that some of the folks were permanent.
Crossville is a really nice clean town--so much to see in the area, like Cumberland State Park (a beautiful waterfall there), Cumberland Playhouse, an old train depot, an alpaca farm, the Minister's Treehouse, and north of Crossville is the home of Sgt Alvin York.
