As I Floridian, I must take exception to the above statement.
Florida presently has a number of campgrounds with new or completely refurbished campgrounds.
Myakka River state park has a brand new section that competes with the best private campground. Water sewer, electric. Level gravel sites. New bathhouses. $ 26.00 per night.
Suwannee River campground has the same. $22.00 a night.
Collier Seminole is presently being revamped.
These are just a few that I can think of.
Sir, you statement is just not true.
Florida IS investing in the state park system.
Prices are most reasonable when compared to other states.
