We have made several trips to Philly to visit relatives. Most of the time we stay in Jersey at Timberland. Have stayed in West Chester KOA. West Chester is an easy train commute into the city once you get to the station and not during rush hours. It is not difficult to get from 30th st. to downtown historic sites. Wa. Crossing and V.F. are best by toad unless you sign up for a tour. Many tours are available at both of the mentioned parks.
