We are heading to Grand Lake Co., made reservation at Winding River Campground in Grand Lake Co. Would like to know if anyone has ever camped here or live near the area and has an opinion or pictures of the campground. Thanks

- Stayed there four nights last summer. Nice park, clean, quiet, near to the park. I had a full hook-up pull-thru in the back. The site was fairly level, parking was on dirt; the rest of site was sparse grass.

- We have stayed there many times in the rear full hookup section. Nice campground and pleasant people who work there. There are small horses and donkeys wandering around the campground and many people there with horses. Good base for Rocky Mtn NP, and wildlife. Lots of elk, moose, and other wildlife in the area. We have seen moose on way from campground to Grand Lake. Nice town and great BBQ ate Sagebrush restaurant. Waterfall at far end of town.
